What is JT-NM?

Created to:

  1. Help manage IP transition
  2. Collect user requirements
  3. Identify gaps in technology
  4. Recommend best practices
  5. Coordinate industry activity

The JT-NM Admin Group serves as the governing body of the JT-NM and consists of the AMWA, the EBU, the SMPTE and the VSF. The individuals serving on this group are:

  • AMWA - Brad Gilmer
  • EBU - Hans Hoffmann
  • SMPTE - Bruce Devlin
  • VSF - Richard Friedel

The JT-NM Tested Board oversees all JT-NM Tested activities and consists of the test leads from each area. The individuals serving on this group are:

  • PTP - Ievgen Kostiukevych (EBU)
  • SMPTE ST 2110 - Willem Vermost (VRT)
  • NMOS Registries - Andrew Bonney (BBC R&D)
  • NMOS Controllers - Felix Poulin (CBC/Radio Canada)

The JT-NM Coordination Group serves as a self-coordinating group of industry bodies working together on the development of IP technologies for professional media.
